Lakes, Ye Olde Manor House is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or
week-long retreat. Alpine valley, only minutes away, offers downhill skiing in
the snowy winter months and a renowned music venue in the summer. For
hikers, bikers, fishermen and cross country ski buffs, we are fifteen minutes
from the Kettle Moraine Forest. Quaint towns with interesting antique shops,
friendly cafes, and wonderful markets are just an easy drive or bike ride away
in the Southern Kettle Moraine Region, and we have access to a beautiful
sandy beach on Pleasant Lake. Old World Wisconsin, a living history museum,
is nine miles away. There are many fine restaurants within a short drive, and
the Friday night fish fry is a tradition.
