After owning and operating a country inn in the mountains of northeastern Georgia, we decided it was time to return to our families and our roots. From our first visit to Woodenheart, we felt as though we had come home. We hope you will feel the same. We invite you to make this your home away from home.

Tucked away in a wooded setting in beautiful Door County, Woodenheart Inn bids you a warm welcome year round. Constructed as a bed and breakfast Inn in 1992, Woodenheart is located on the north side of Sister Bay. Our log home offers the charm of the past with all the modern amenities of today. A full country breakfast is served each morning in the dining room.

Guests are welcome to use the great room with its large fieldstone fireplace, sit out on the deck, or relax in the large screened gazebo in the rear of the house.

Three guest rooms are located on the second floor and 2 on the first. There is an adjoining loft where guests may enjoy TV, play games -- or simply curl up and read a book.

Each room has a private bath. Our newest room features a king bed which converts to twins, a television, refrigerator, coffee service and a private bath.
