When you cross the threshold of WestPort Bed & Breakfast you enter into the world of Midwestern Aristocracy. Amble through the 1879 Italianate Victorian Style home (older than our city's art museum) built of distinctive Cream City Brick, for Dr. & Mrs. Richard K. Paine as a wedding gift from Mrs. Paine's parents, Dr. & Mrs. Patchen.

Manitowoc is located along the Western Shore of Lake Michigan, 3 hours north of Chicago, 4 hours west of Ludington, Michigan via Lake Michigan Carferry (May-Oct), just over an hour north of Milwaukee, an hour south of Door County, and less than an hour southeast of Green Bay. Easily accessible via I-43, Highway 42, Highway 151 or Highway 10.

Unpack your bags in the Serenity Suite, Grandma's Suite, Bess' Chamber, or The Liberty Retreat, then relax and make yourself at home. You'll feel as if you're settling in at your Grandmother's house. Take the opportunity to venture into the flower garden, buffered from traffic by protective hedges all around. Watch the passersby while gently rocking in the swing on the wrap-around porch.

After a good night's sleep on rose scented, crisply ironed linens, awaken to the beckoning aroma of freshly brewed European Blended Coffee. Full candlelight breakfast is served in the dining room or delivered to your bedroom door at the time you choose.
