Innkeepers Annette and Gary Ray offer two warm and beautifully decorated guest rooms for your comfort, an unattached shared bath, and a large elegant living room with fireplace for your relaxation and enjoyment. Mellen House is located 23 miles south of Ashland on the corner of State Route 13 and Fayette Avenue in the historic little city of Mellen, home of Copper Falls State Park (Falls shown at right).

Winter, summer, spring or fall: each is a special time to visit our comfortable, friendly turn-of-the-century home and enjoy our northern hospitality and the splendid beauty the Mellen area has to offer you. A cozy dining room with hand carved furniture from the 1850s is where you will enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast.
