Maplevale Farm was operated and owned by John and Sarah Martindell. Their welcoming home was built in 1856 and they raised their family in the home while operating as a Dairy farm. The farm provided dairy products to the students of Miami University. Miami University is today known as ‘public ivy’ and is consistently in the top 25 Universities in the country. The University is the home of the MAC Championship Redhawks. Maplevale Farm Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located five minutes south of the Miami University campus on U S 27 and serves as a home away from home to hundreds each year.
