Red Fox Country Inn is a Bed & Breakfast and Banquet Center located on 15 rolling acres in scenic Central Ohio. It was originally built in 1830's to house travelers on the Danville-Amity Wagon road and later became a farm home. Local lore suggests that the barn roof was finished the day the Civil War ended. Located 1000 feet from the road, near a spring that served as its water source, the Inn offers a quiet, unique and relaxing vacation or weekend experience.

Your stay includes a full breakfast, served in our spacious new banquet center. Special health food needs and tastes are taken into consideration. Please state these at the time of making your reservation. The Red Fox Country Inn and Banquet Center is Knox County's newest center for business and personal gatherings. The inn offers settings for parties, rehearsal dinners, business meetings, and dinners, as well as quiet bed & breakfast accommodations.

Guests are encouraged to relax on the scenic front porch and enjoy the view while you listen to the birds sing and watch the Amish neighbors drive by. Or you can make use of the sitting room on the second floor where you will find games, puzzles, books, & movies. In the spring, you can experience the beauty of over 50 dogwoods, magnolia and crab apple trees. In summer, the large lawn abounds with roses, annuals and perennials, In fall the foliage on the maple, oak, chestnut and other trees surrounding the Inn is spectacular. Winter offers the opportunity to relax in the warmth of the sitting room. Coffee, tea or soft drinks and home made cookies and treats are always available.

The surrounding area offers golf, canoeing, fishing, skiing, hiking & bike trails, and horseback riding. There are many orchards, farm markets, festivals, fairs, antique and specialty shops nearby. The Inn is within a short travel distance to the Amish Community, Mohican State Park, Roscoe Village, Malabar Farm, Kingwood Center, the Longaberger basket factory, the National Heisey Glass Museum and several colleges.
