Be our guest, we will be happy to accommodate you! If you have never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, you're in for a treat. This beautiful house with many acres of woods, trails, lakes and English gardens is breathtaking any season of the year. Shady Oaks is a Federal period architectural masterpiece, furnished with antiques and period reproductions. The inn has been renovated to meet modern amenities, yet you will feel you have stepped back in time to the 18th century!
Put your hiking boots on, grab a mountain bike from the barn, and we’ll give you a map to explore the National Park, or tour the park by horse and carriage (with a gourmet picnic lunch) or a horse drawn sleigh ride in winter (How's that for romantic?!) We are 1 mile down the road from the two largest ski resorts in Ohio – the list of things to do and see are endless! Or just sit on the porches, read a book, watch the horses graze, take a walk to the lake to see the deer and hawks, and sip iced tea --- and experience serenity, nature and the beauty of Shady Oaks. A stay at Shady Oaks Farm will combine, elegant lodging, warm hospitality, and great food. We feel our inn is the place to “Discover the meaning of Relaxation.”
