Doe Run Retreat is located in the midst of 100 acres of rolling hills and woods in eastern Central Ohio 16 miles SW of Coshocton, 20 miles NE of Newark, 22 miles North of Zanesville, 25 miles SE of Mount Vernon and only 10 miles North of Dresden- not far from anywhere but in the middle of nowhere. The secluded country setting and warm hospitality provide a peaceful environment for eliminating stress and enjoying diversions away from the everyday pressures and hustle of city life.

The guest house is a walk-out ranch structure surrounded by trees and facing rolling farmland.(In the spring these woods are a mushroom hunter's paradise due to elm trees galore ! Mid-July also brings fields full of wild blackberry bushes ready to be picked- cautiously with gloves due to thorns but worth the trouble)

The upstairs has a large great room/kitchen with a fireplace and a screened porch accessed through french doors. Two bedrooms upstairs (with queen and full size beds), bath and office/library complete the first floor.

The lower level has two bedrooms where twin beds can accommodate families or singles. A large recreational room with exercise equipment, game table and tv provides leisure space for guests. A convenient kitchen is available for snacks and cookouts on the gas grill. Washer /dryer are available off the downstairs bathroom as is air conditioning throughout.
