The Cabin on Cedar Ridge is a primitive 1860 era log cabin updated to provide all the amenities of modern age living. The cabin is ideal for couples or families looking for a unique property close to a variety of area attractions and activities to enjoy year round. It is perfect for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the wood-burning fireplace. Our log cabin bed and breakfast is located in Anderson County, in East Tennessee, close to Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains. We are 15 minutes north of Knoxville on Interstate 75 at the Clinton/Norris Exit (Exit 122). The Cabin is adjacent to the Museum of Appalachia, within one mile of the historic city of Norris, and close to beautiful Norris Lake. Lake City with its coal mining history and Clinton with its antique shops are also nearby.

Three Tennessee State Parks are within 15 minutes of our log cabin bed and breakfast - Big Ridge, Cove Lake and Norris Dam are all favorites of ours for their beauty and variety of recreational activities offered by each. Norris Dam and Norris Lake are only a short distance away - you can be at Norris Dam in less than 10 minutes. Other areas of the lake are also easily accessible. Boating, fishing and camping are popular on Norris Lake - frequently noted as the cleanest lake in the TVA Reservoir system. The Clinch River is well known by outdoorsmen for its ease of access and beauty. We are only 5 minutes away from the river - fishing, flyfishing, canoeing, hiking trails, and horseback riding are enjoyed by outdoor enthusiasts.

The Cabin has a fully equipped kitchen. The Cabin has a king-size bed in the loft and a full-size sofa sleeper in the living room. The wood burning fireplace is a favorite among our guests. Nothing beats the warmth and glow of an authentic fireplace - especially on those cool evenings typical of East Tennessee in the Fall and Spring of the year.

A telephone is in the cabin for local calls only. Any long distance calls must be billed to a credit card, calling card or to another number. Cable TV, stereo CD, games, books and VHS movies are available for guests.
