Sugar Hollow is ideally located near the eclectic mountain towns of Banner Elk, Johnson City, and Boone, yet we are uniquely positioned for privacy and tranquility. Our 300-acre property is truly a wildlife sanctuary in an environment of cliffs, rivers, mountains & meadows. For your stay at Sugar Hollow, we offer accommodations suiting individuals and groups.

* The Lodge at Sugar Hollow: A rustic antique barn transformed into an exquisite 8-room mountain lodge.

* The Chestnut Farmhouse, Hemlock House, Cherokee House, and Sequoia Cottage: Individual guest houses complete with kitchen & laundry amenities that accommodate 6-12 people.

* Watauga Building: A 1,200 square foot conference facility which can be rented along with the Lodge and/or individual guest houses as an all-inclusive package perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, church programs, weddings, Bluegrass entertainment, and other group gatherings.

* Watauga Lake View Deck :A 900 square foot wooden deck with a scenic view of the Watauga Lake and the surrounding mountains. Perfect location for small weddings, group gatherings, and outdoor picnics.
