Located on fifty-seven acres of a wildlife preserve on the southernmost tip of Tilghman island, this bed and breakfast inn with the waterfront views from its private peninsula location is more like a sanctuary for humans. Walking trails for bird and waterfowl watching, and waterside hammocks fill a contemplative pace free of artificial distractions.

Simplicity and homey comforts help you settle right in the pre-civil war main house. Each guest room offers expansive waterfront views with a private bath. Screened porches and sitting areas are just some of the amenities found in various rooms. For a little extra privacy and seclusion, stay in the cozy waterfront cottage with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and screened porch facing the river.

Start the day off right with an expanded continental breakfast served in the formal dinning room. Then pull up a rocking chair on the main porch and plan your day. The Inn provides plenty of activity: swim in the pool, relax in the spa, play a game of tennis, go fishing, boating, explore the wildlife sanctuary, or perhaps just take a nap on the hammocks.
