The Village House at Sutton Mills is located in a four-season resort area. In the spring and summer guests can enjoy swimming and boating at Lake Sunapee or at Wadleigh State Park on Kezar Lake in North Sutton. In the winter months, we are located 9 miles from the Mount Sunapee Ski Area, and a short drive to Ragged Mountain and Pat's Peak Ski Resorts, cross-country ski areas, ice-fishing, snow-shoeing, and snowmobile routes. There are boat excursions, golf courses, numerous hiking trails, and fishing in pristine rivers nearby. New London is six miles away with excellent restaurants, fine shopping and summer theatre.
Other attractions within a 45 minute drive include the Shaker Villages in Enfield and Canterbury, Dartmouth College and Medical Center, and Saint Gaudens National Historic Site.
