The Inn on Poplar Hill is a Bed and Breakfast in Orange Virginia near the University of Virginia and Montpelier in the heart of Virginia wine Country. A casually elegant, Queen Anne Victorian built in the 1890's, by the Great Granddaughter of Thomas Jefferson. The Inn on Poplar Hill overlooks the historic town of Orange Virginia. Surrounded by 28 acres with an abundance of wildflowers, walking trails and country charm.
It is just a few short blocks to walk into town to visit one of the many antique & gift shops, enjoy dinner or visit an art gallery. For a more secluded escape, many guests prefer to stroll our many walking trails. Our resident mascot, Bear, a friendly flat coat retriever will show you the way to our stocked fishing pond. We will be happy to pack you a special picnic lunch or dinner to take along.

| Reservation Policies and Payment Information |
We recognize that plans change and we will gladly release you from your obligation if your cancellation is made at least 10 days prior to your planned arrival, minus a $25 administrative fee. We are sorry, but due to our limited number of guest rooms and the cost incurred by the Inn in advance preparation of your visit, your credit card will be charged for the entire reservation when cancellation is made within 10 days of your planned visit. We are a small upscale property and our guests usually reserve well ahead of the date of their planned visit. When someone cancels close to their arrival date this often precludes the re-booking of the room, however if we are able to re-rent the room, we will offer a gift certificate, in the amount of your reservation (less a $25 administrative fee) to be used at a future date.
Whole house & Murder Mystery Parties require an non-refundable deposit and 30 days notice for cancellations to avoid additional charges.
