Launch your boat at the public ramp just down the street from our bed and breakfast and be on the Chesapeake Bay in just minutes - cruising, fishing, crabbing, exploring or simply anchored enjoying the view. If you prefer to keep one foot on land, try fishing or crabbing from the public dock where steamships once unloaded passengers from the western shore. Stroll along the white picket fence-lined streets or use our bicycles to journey back in time to a gentler way of life. Chat with life-long Harborton residents and 'come-heres' to discover the secret intrigue of this peaceful town. Wander down to the dock to catch a glimpse of life on the water and maybe even a sailboat anchored for the night.
Built in 1900, Harborton House's four-year restoration was completed one year shy of its 100th birthday. Harborton House is graced with open porches on two stories and stands proudly in the heart of town. Filled with antiques, reproductions and family heirlooms, Harborton House is casual but full of luxuries. You may take breakfast in our formal dining room, in the garden, on the porch or in your room. Wherever you choose to dine, your hosts Helen and Andy Glenn, will share their special blend of hospitality to make your stay unforgettable.
