Our private residence was purchased with a dream in mind ... opening our doors to share the restorative tranquility and peaceful seclusion found here. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and in the heart of Virginia's hunt country, our comfortable, private setting and homey ambiance will make your stay at Foxgloves something special. We're conveniently located within a 10-mile radius of award-winning wineries and there are many excellent restaurants nearby. Horse lovers will want to check out the equestrian events the local area has to offer.
The three-bedroom bed and breakfast is in the main house of this 90-acre estate property. In addition to the bed and breakfast, Foxgloves is a working farm with a small herd of Scottish Highland cattle which are raised for natural beef. There are also goats, peacocks and various other birds. Spectacular sunsets and views of woods and pastures can be enjoyed from our outdoor patio. We encourage guests to walk around the property and enjoy the wildlife and natural beauty. Remember to bring some comfortable old boots or shoes! Located just 45 minutes from Dulles International Airport and only 75 minutes from Washington, D.C., Foxgloves provides a quiet retreat in a private, natural setting. We're conveniently open year-round.
