If you pamper yourself as a matter of course, or if you only do it for special occasions, the Chiltern experience is waiting for you. The 1906 Victorian has been completely rebuilt with superb attention to detail, featuring cherry wood floors and soaring ceilings. Chiltern is located on a quiet gardened lot, within walking distance to Compass Harbor of Acadia Nations Park, and a leisurely 7 minute sidewalk stroll to the Bar Harbor village green, together with all the shops, restaurants, galleries, museums, and nightlife. The four suites have window seats, fireplaces, antique mantels, oversized marble bathrooms with two-person Jacuzzi and double marble showers.

Our amenities include an art gallery, a home theater, and an indoor spa that includes a 32 foot lap pool (click on pool photo for a larger image), an 8 person hot tub and a sauna. We are steps from the tennis courts, less than two miles from the renowned Kebo Valley golf course, and of course, we are on an island, so the ocean is practically everywhere you turn. Whale watching, sea kayaking, bicycling, hiking, and national park tours are all nearby.
