A Victorian Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Bethel Village. Our made to order breakfasts feature local eggs, homemade scones and granola; waffles, pancakes, French toast, Irish Oatmeal, Maine maple syrup, seasonal fruits, Starbucks coffee, assorted teas, juice, yogurt and cereals. All seven rooms have queen beds, private baths, cable TV, WiFi and AC. Complimentary bikes and helmets for adults. The Inn can be rented for group events, please ask. Afternoon tea and snacks, complimentary after-dinner drinks. There are many enjoyable activities nearby, in all 4 seasons - including a variety of scenic hiking trails, golfing, kayaking and canoeing, mountain biking, swimming, picnics, spa services, shopping, crafters, wall-climbing, water park and community concerts-fairs and performances. Winter and spring skiing, snowboarding, dog-sledding, cross country skiing,and snow-shoeing.
Fishing, bird-watching and wildlife viewing are all part of the Bethel experience. Area artisans' wares, as well as antiques and collectibles can be found in local shops. The Bethel community offers charming pubs, a variety of restaurants, musical venues, and many unique and creative shopping experiences. You can see a first run movie... or simply relax, rest and read to your heart's content. Guests can relax on the front porch or patio, in the living room or in their well-appointed rooms.
The Bethel community sponsors seasonal fairs, theatrical and music productions, outdoor weekend events and family activities. NTL - the National Training Laboratory holds sessions in the summer, as does Outward Bound. Bethel is also home to the Gould Academy.
