Our charming farmhouse was built between 1890 and 1900. In 1999 we bought the house, along with seven outbuildings, and surrounding seventy-five acres. We took the farmhouse down to the studs and completely remodeled it, maintaining the integrity and ambiance of the original building. The Sidebotham Inn features the original woodwork and homey wood floors. The first Sidebotham Inn was operated by John Sidebotham’s great-great-great grandfather in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and it was here on January 3, 1831, the savings and loan business in the United States was established.
