Guests often gather in the main-floor parlor to chat with other guests or curl up with a book. If you want to just sit back and relax, there's a TV and VCR, and a fireplace to take the chill off. For guests use, you'll find a refrigerator stocked with soda pop and a microwave oven, as well as plenty of games to keep you busy on rainy days.
Breakfast is served by candlelight in the parlor, at tables set with fine china and crystal. "One of our most popular dishes is made with apples and eggs and served hot," Glenn explained. "Shirley garnishes it with a baked cheese puff and fresh fruit. She also makes good crepes stuffed with fruit, and different kinds of quiches." To round out the meal, there are breads or rolls, a breakfast meat, and beverages.
