A Galveston Bed and Breakfast since 1994, this restored circa 1887 two-story Queen Anne Victorian is nestled in the Lost Bayou historical district with elegant charm and sophistication. With heirloom antiques, private baths, and a full country breakfast each morning. Honeymoon and Anniversary packages, copper roses, carriage rides, free movies, Jacuzzi for two, and an old fashioned garden swing. Award winning "Best In the USA' and "Best Breakfast In The Southwest." The home, by Alfred Muller a renowned architect from Krefeld Germany, was designed for Howard Carnes the cashier of the Morgan's Louisiana and Texas Railroad and Steamship Company. The second owner, Paul Shean was a coppersmith from Ireland, hence the name Coppersmith Inn.

Coppersmith Gardens: Karen is a Texas Master Gardener in Galveston County. In 1997, she was certified in Denton County. The Master Gardener program is sponsored by the Texas Cooperative Extension of Texas A&M University. In May 2004, the Coppersmith Inn was on tour for the Lake Forest Garden Club of Houston. Then in June 2004, the Inn's gardens were featured on the "Clean Galveston Backyard Garden Tour". Our guests voted us "Best Garden" in “Arrington's Inn Traveler 2005 Book of Lists”. Thank You Guests!
