Built in 1925 by a famous local master cabinet maker, the Australian Walkabout Inn Bed & Breakfast features superior construction methods for which Herr was well known such as native chestnut pocket doors, trim, and inlaid flooring. The Walkabout is situated on an acre of beautifully landscaped property with outstanding floral gardens.
Just as the Australian word Walkabout means: to go about and discover new places, you too can easily embark on your own Walkabout from our conveniently located Inn. Nearby are many fine restaurants, golf courses, historic sites, farmers markets, country auctions and shopping outlets. Or perhaps you may just enjoy touring the Amish countryside.

Contact Inn for Bed and Breakfast Rates/Policies. Minimum 2-night weekend stays holiday weekends and weekends in October. AAA/AARP discount. Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to reservation are subject to a $100 fee. Check in-time is from 3pm-8pm. Check out at 10am.
