Built before the Revolution, Speedwell Forge Mansion looks much the same as it did when it was built, over 200 years ago. The thick stone walls, the deep paneled windows, the hand-carved cupboards, all reflect the extraordinary craftmanship of an age gone by. Crystal chandeliers, a grand staircase, antique furniture, fine linens, everything speaks to the elegance of Speedwell Forge Mansion. In the afternoon, we offer wine and cheese in the parlor; in the evening we provide a tempting collection of desserts.
