Elden House offers peaceful bed and breakfast accommodations in Flagstaff, AZ. It is the perfect lodging for visitors to the Grand Canyon, the Red Rocks of Sedona, and Oak Creek Canyon. We are located in the tall pines with panoramic views of Mount Elden right out your window. Gourmet breakfast specialties are served every morning. We welcome your small pet. Do as much or as little as you like as you get away from your hectic schedule. Plan a busy stay of sightseeing, mountain biking, golfing, hiking, or horseback riding. Or enjoy quiet leisure with a good book on your private balcony or in the garden.

Elden House caters to guests seeking a cool mountain getaway in summer, or the perfect cozy starting point for a Northern Arizona getaway in fall and winter. We offer four seasons of hospitality. Elden House is located east of Historic downtown Flagstaff in a residential neighborhood with nicely landscaped yards, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. A delicious gourmet breakfast is served each morning in our dining room, or weather permitting on the patio in the garden (in summer). Linger over that last cup of coffee and enjoy delightful conversation with other guests or plan your day of relaxing.

In late afternoon, after your day's adventures, take a relaxing stroll through the neighborhood or along Pipeline Trail in the Coconino National Forest, enjoying the peace and tranquility mingled with the unmistakable smell of pine. In winter, curl up and relax by the fireplace (October to April) in your room or common room with a book from our guest library. Come to the mountains of northern Arizona and enjoy nature - the fresh air, the smell of the pines, and cool nights with lots of starlight.

The best amenity of all is our proximity to thousands of acres of Coconino National Forest, and the beautiful weather to enjoy them. Luxuriously decorated and comfortable guest rooms including fresh flowers (in summer) that bring the outdoors inside.

Guest rooms have radio, ceiling fan, mini refrig stocked with cheese, crackers,, and soda, and if you must, cable color TV with remote and VCR. Rates include full gourmet breakfast, served at 8:30 AM in our comfortable dining room or on the patio in the garden (weather permitting).

The spacious common room, with vaulted ceiling, has a cooling ceiling fan (for summer), and beautiful woodstove on a raised hearth, for cozy fires in winter. The room is furnished with a warm and homey collection of antique and country style furniture, a rocking chair, comfortable couches and a low game table. At day's end read, play games or just relax on the patio among the gardens (in summer), or by the woodstove in our common room.

Check in time is 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Please call the host with an approximate time if at all possible, and definitely if you need to arrive later. (866) 44ELDEN (866-443-5336). For check-in after 9 PM, there is a $35 late check-in fee.

Check out time is 11:00 AM.

Multiple night minimums may be required on weekends, holidays, or during special events.

Children over 8 years old are welcome and can stay in a separate room.

A deposit in the amount of 50% of the total stay is needed to hold the room. This can be done by credit card, personal check, or travelers' check. If you are making a reservation less than one week out, you can use a credit card to guarantee your reservation.

Advance reservations are recommended.

All rooms are upstairs. Sorry, there is no handicap access.

No refund for early checkout. Guests are responsible for all rooms and nights reserved regardless of the actual arrival or departure date or number of rooms used.

Payment in full is due upon arrival.

Due to our proximity to the National Forest, Elden House is a SMOKE-FREE facility INSIDE AND OUT.

Cancellation Policies
Cancellations are allowed with a full refund if received 15 days in advance of scheduled arrival date.

Cancellations need to be made 72 hours prior to arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit less a $15 cancellation fee. For holidays or special local events, the cancellation period will be 5 days in advance.

Reservations made less than 15 days in advance are non-cancelable and require full payment at the time the reservation is made.

Pets under 25 pounds are welcome.

The charge for a pet is $10 per night.

Pets cannot be left unattended on the property or in your room. Arrangements can be made for pet sitting during your all day excursion for an additional fee.

Pets must be on a leash at all times.

Owners must clean up after their pets.

Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
