Chaffee County, CO boasts of more fourteen thousand foot peaks than any other county in the continental United States. The Arkansas River headwaters generously provide us with fly-fishing, rafting, kayaking, and hiking like nowhere else in the U.S. A variety of wildlife visits us year round. Horseback riding, mountain climbing, snow shoeing, snow mobiling, road rallies, antique and classic car shows, mountain hiking the Colorado Trail, skiing and snowboarding are favorite activities of residents and visitors alike.

The upper level rooms, the Flying Geese and Clementine, boast of spectacular views of the fourteeners, where sunsets show off their colors and shadows. The two bedrooms on each level share a full bath, with fleece or terry cloth robes for your comfort. Next to the bed is a small bedside table, with lamps for your evening reading. A fireplace and leather couched family room is always available. In cooler weather, the outside fire pit is a cozy place to watch the stars and moonrise.
