The National Trust for Historic Preservation named Thomasville to its list, "Dozen Distinctive Destinations Award" in May of 2000.

The Ephraim G. Ponder House is on the National Register of Historic Places. Our inn offers the comfort and personalized service of a B&B with the lodging accommodations you would expect at a luxury hotel. With two grand staircases, 12 foot ceilings, incredible woodwork and crown-molding, formal living room and dining room, ten fireplaces, formal grounds with a beautiful swimming pool for our guests pleasure and relaxation we are sure you will enjoy every minute of your stay with us.
All suites have very large windows with views of the grounds, pool or historic district. Grounds are Charleston style with old brick, stone walls and iron gates.
