Located in the beautiful Sonoma, California Wine Country four blocks from historic Sonoma Plaza, MacArthur Place is a luxurious hotel and spa set in the midst of wineries, fine dining, shops, and unique galleries. Just a short 15- minute drive from the Napa Valley and forty-five minutes from San Francisco, the Inn is convenient to both Sonoma Valley and Napa Valley wineries. Once a prestigious address for a 300 hundred-acre vineyard and working ranch with prized trotters and cattle, the lush 19th century estate has been transformed into a luxurious 64 room inn and spa, receiving rave reviews and guest comments. Click here to read a sampling.

Each of the Inn’s 64 rooms and suites are individually designed with beautiful furnishings, down comforters, custom linens, and original artwork. Ten rooms are located in the property's original residence built in the 1850's. The Inn's 29 newest luxury suites offer fireplaces, king-sized beds, hydrotherapy tubs or rain showers, wet bars, flat-panel televisions, and DVD players with six-speaker surround sound.

MacArthur Place is set among seven acres of magnificent gardens filled with original sculpture. Flagstone walkways lead guests past hedgerows, fountains and benches to a sparkling swimming pool and whirlpool. The Garden Spa at MacArthur Place offers over 40 different massage, facial and body treatments utilizing the flowers, herbs and plants found in the garden. Dining is a special experience at MacArthur Place. Located in the Inn's historic barn on the estate, Saddles is the wine country's premier steakhouse serving only USDA Prime beef, and has been named Sonoma's best new restaurant.
