Proprietors Jim Gunther and Jamie Cherry bring a touch of San Francisco style
to the Napa Valley and impart some of that style to the look, feel, and food at
the inn for their guests to experience.
Napa's newest inn is casual, yet sophisticated with contemporary influences
throughout. You’ll enjoy Jim’s inventive gourmet cuisine, Jamie’s charming
service, their sumptuous rooms and amenities, and oh-so-peaceful gardens.
Jim loves to prepare high quality food with a professional presentation, and
provide new gastronomic adventures for his guests; always willing, of course,
to scramble an egg or two for the less adventurous. Jamie's gracious style of
service and attention to detail provides the perfect delivery of the breakfast
meal. Jim and Jamie together share fine food with their guests, as they have
with friends and family at their home in San Francisco since 1994.
The gardens offer a peaceful retreat where guests can sit and reflect on their
perfect day spent wine tasting in the world-renowned Napa Valley wine
country.
Each of the five Mansion guestrooms features a king or queen-sized bed,
private bath, two-person whirlpool tub, iPod-ready alarm clock, luxurious
robes and fireplace.
Our Garden Suites are the pinnacle of luxury and comfort. Nestled under a
150-year-old oak tree, the five-suite structure was designed to compliment
the grandeur of the original estate. In each spacious Garden Suite we have
incorporated the two-person whirlpool tub and spacious shower into the
room itself. They each have a king-size bed, fireplace, a balcony or deck
overlooking the gardens, and a private exterior entrance.
The Mansion, built circa 1905 boasts a comfortable living room where guests
can read a book or enjoy a quiet conversation in front of the fireplace. Here
guests can indulge in daily baked goods, cold sodas, or hot tea at their
leisure.
Full breakfast including; hot entrée, fresh fruit, and fresh baked muffins or
scones, served to you between 8:30am - 10:00am

All rooms have PRIVATE BATHS. Rates are quoted double occupancy and
include breakfast, but NOT taxes. We offer our guests a NON-SMOKING
environment. Smoking is permitted in the Gardens. Multi-day stay may be
required if stay involves a weekend or holiday. A 10 day notice is required for
deposit return unless your canceled room is re-rented.
A stay of 4 nights or more requires a 14-day notice for deposit return unless
your canceled room is re-rented. Groups of 3 or more rooms require a 30-
day notice for deposit return unless your canceled room is re-rented. Any
room not re-rented will be charged the full room rate. Cancellations will be
charged a $35 fee per room to help us recover costs, regardless. Check in
time is between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m., unless previously arranged with
innkeepers. VISA/MC accepted. Prices subject to change without notice.
