Edinburgh Sherwood Guest House bed and breakfast is non-smoking and centrally located with luxury four diamonds/3 star accommodation @ great prices. En-suite family double & twin rooms all with central heating & double glazing to ensure a warm, comfortable stay. Our Scottish buffet style breakfasts are a great start to any day in Edinburgh whether its a days shopping, golfing, festival enjoying or just hanging out. We are close to most major Edinburgh tourist attractions & serviced by lovely bars, cafes & restaurants. The nearest golf course is only 5 minutes walk from the Sherwood with another 20+ within 20minutes drive. We are just over 1 mile from Princes St. which is still a great place to shop an George St. is the current preferred area for trendy shops. Edinbugrh Castle and the Royal Mile are just 1 mile from the Sherwood, while Holyrood Park is a mere 5 minutes from our front door. A 10 minute stroll though the park brings you to The Palace of Holyrood House, Our Dynamic Earth, and the new Scottish Parliament building. We are on the A701 which will take you either to the city centre or to Rosslyn Chapel which is about 8 miles from our front door.
