Welcome to Bailey House Victorian Bed and Breakfast Amelia Island, Florida. A charming retreat for that special occasion. There is no other area in America with the charm and warmth of Amelia Island. Vacationers have discovered Florida's best kept secret- now so can you. Amelia Island's unique character can be traced back to 1566 when the area was settled by the Spanish. Originally inhabited for more than 600 years by the Timucuan Indians, eight flags of sovereignty have flown over this settlement - including the French, Spanish, English, Mexican and the Confederacy during the Civil War. The picturesque and historic harbor of Fernandina Beach, once a haven for pirates, is now one of the most productive shrimping and fishing centers in the southeast as well as being home to many noted artisans. Its 50 block down town area is a well preserved showplace of quaint public buildings, palatial homes, waterside restaurants, nautical boutiques, galleries and museums.

| Reservation Policies and Payment Information |
Rates include full breakfast. Telephones and cable TV in all rooms. Wireless highspeed internet access available. Rates are for 1 or 2 persons per room and do not include tax. Extra persons are $25/night. Two night minimum on weekends. Three night minimum on holiday and special event weeekends. Weekly rates available. Rates subject to change. Deposits are 50% of rent and tax for the reserved stay. The deposit , less a $20 cancellation fee, will be returned only if cancellation is received 5 days ahead of the scheduled check-in day. No children younger than 8 and no pets please. A friendly 4 pound toy poodle lives on site. Major credit cards honored. Check-in after 3p.m. and check out by 11a.m.
