Located in the center of several New England attractions, guests
at Gilbert's Bed & Breakfast enjoy a hearty country breakfast and
the restful atmosphere of the 1830s bed and breakfast. Named
Massachusetts Tree Farm in 1987, Gilbert's Bed & Breakfast has
been welcoming guests from throughout the world for 22 years.
Hostess Jeanne Gilbert Beardsworth is a retired newspaper writer,
photographer and riding instructor. She currently is a Mary Kay
Cosmetics independent beauty consultant. Assisting Jeanne is her
husband, Donald. Chester, the horse, greets guests with
welcoming neighs. Bird watchers marvel at the assortment of
species. Bicyclists travel the country roads, often arriving by
bicycle. Guests may rent stalls when traveling with their
four-legged equine friends. The facility is also available for day or
overnight corporate or spiritual retreats and workshops. Home
cooked meals are prepared with the dietery needs of the guests in
mind. Gilbert's Bed & Breakfast is also available for bridal showers,
Victorian Teas, and Mary Kay Cosmetics color consultations and
facials.

A $20 per night per room deposit is required. The deposit is
non-refundable, if cancellation is made within 14 days of arrival. If
cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to arrival, the deposit
less a $10 handling fee will be returned.

There is a two night minimum stay on the following holidays:
Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July and Columbus Day.
