Meadows Inn B & B Circa 1847 was built by John Alexander Meadows a local shipbuilder and merchant. A private residence until 1980 when it was converted to New Bern's first Bed & Breakfast. The moment you drive up to our Antebellum Inn, leave your cares behind and prepare to experience the warm friendly atmosphere of the Meadows Inn. New Bern, the second oldest town in the state, is situated at the confluence of the Neuse and the Trent Rivers. Steeped in History, this quaint town with carriage rides, historical home walks anfd tours of the Tryon Palace will be a nostalgic step back in time. During your stay at Meadows Inn, you will sleep in beautiful bedrooms with a themed decor, private baths, fireplaces and featuring family memories, antiques and and handmade accessories.
