Breakfast Inn. Our romantic Connecticut B and B is situated on historic Fitch
Farm Vineyard in scenic Southeastern Connecticut-gateway to New England.
Our location is convenient to major highways (I-95, I-395, Route 2), just
minutes from Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mohegan Sun Casino, and historic
Mystic Village - home to Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, and other
attractions. After a fun-filled day of sight-seeing and shopping in Mystic, or
an exciting evening at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, you will truly enjoy the

The Fitch Claremont House, circa 1790, has enjoyed a long, rich history and
many uses: a farmhouse, a "publick" house called The Claremont, and the
private residence of Asa Fitch, a prominent industrialist. The house changed
architecturally with each owner's occupancy, ranging from a simple
farmhouse to an aristocratic residence with private racetrack and third floor
ballroom. The current owners, Warren and Nora Strong, bought the house in
1969. They raised a family of three here while working to restore the main
house to its previous grandeur. In 1993, Warren and Nora converted their
home to a bed and breakfast, adding a four-room guest addition.
