The Vermont bed and breakfast, named in honor of the famed London flower show in England, is set amid beautiful formal gardens against the backdrop of lush forest,just ten minutes from Woodstock in Barnard, Vermont. The sleepy village at the edge of Silver Lake is the picture post card New England hamlet with white steepled churches, general store and country lanes for exploring with the changing seasons.

The warm open plan of the Cape style home surrounding a wood burning fire lends itself to hospitality. The living room is a comfortably appointed warming oasis for fireside reading, television and afternoon refreshments. The quiet gardens,surrounding meadows of wildflower and pastures with our pet sheep offer a peaceful commune with nature.

As your hostess, with the able assistance of my friendly Clumber Spaniel Bailey, I look forward to welcoming you and to sharing my bed and breakfast in this very special part of Vermont with my guests. I have spent some twenty six years in resort management in Bermuda and it is my pleasure to look after your complete comfort and satisfaction. Children of all ages welcome, making Chelsea Farm the ideal spot for a family vacation in Vermont.
